Q: Milesight VMS Lite can't connect

Hey all.

I'm brand new and hope this is the right place to post my question..
I try to connect my "onvif" ip cam to VMS Lite, but on the screen picture it's say " connecting ... " / no images, but recording working..

have you followed our guide on how to add cameras to VMS Lite - How To Add, Edit, and Delete IP Cameras when using Milesight VMS Lite - this focuses on Milesight cameras but the process shouldn't be any different, even when you use the "search devices" feature you should see all cameras on your network, Milesight and ONVIF cameras.

Sorry, we can only provide one-to-one support to our customers.

We checked here, and VMS Lite was able to find cameras from various manufacturers on our network.
I'm not sure why it's not working with your camera.
Some cameras may need a separate user role for ONVIF use:

Hello.
I got the very same issue. I fixed it downloading an upgraded driver for video card. Computer was using some kind of generic Microsoft driver.
