sd card for hikvision

Long time stalker and now finally joined.

Gidday...

Has anyone had success with the lexar 633x 64GB for DS-2CD2x42FWD series cameras?
Don't want to drop $100 for three and end up not being usable.

The tested/compatible list provided by the manufacturer is not that great.
• Kingston: 4G/8G/16G/32G/64G/128G
• Sandisk: 4G/8G/16G/32G/64G/128G
• Transcend: 4G/8G/16G/32G/64G
• Samsung: 4G/8G/16G/32G/64G
• Kingmax: 4G/8G/16G/32G/64G

Hi Shane,

No experience with the specific microSD card you mentioned I'm afraid, but I'd tend to favour a Sandisk microSD card when using Hikvision devices - they can be a little picky.

Otherwise, you may want to investigate Hikvision's own DS-UTF64GI-H1 64GB microSD card if you want to absolutely guarantee compatibility.

I had initially intended on purchasing the sandisk then after some research found they are not recommended for dash cams and the like due to a high failure rate.
