SMART TRACKING ISSUE

I've recently setup a DS-2DF8836IV-AELW and when I activate the Smart Tracking it attempts to operate for a few seconds then goes crazy and just pans and zooms all over the place, any thoughts on why it does this please?

Also the camera is very slow to react when operation the ptz functions from the nvr so again any thoughts on why this would be?

My NVR is a DS-9632NI-I8 and all of the IP cameras are all routed through a Hikvision DS-3E0318P-E(B) ethernet switch which also provides the PoE.

If the PTZ is plugged into that PoE switch it could be a lack of power which is the issue, that PoE switch only provides a max. 30W per port but that PTZ is Hi-PoE standard and can require up to 60W to function. You will need to use a separate Hi-PoE 60W Injector to power the PTZ.
