It’s my fault..... forgot to check if camera i ordered was poe. It arrived today and i dont think it is. It does have a RJ45 socket but I am not sure if it is a POE camera, cant see anything on box or in manual mentioning POE and for obvious reasons I donot want to attemp to run it without confirmation. The camera is a Hikvision DS-2CD2563GO-IS/B 6MP MINI DOME 2.8MM [DS-2CD2563G0-IS-2.8-B]. I want to run it on my DS 7608NI-12-8P network recorder. If anyone can advise if it is or more likely it isn’t a POE camera I would appreciate it.
Paul.

The camera is PoE, all Hikvision EasyIP 2.0+ cameras (2xx3G0) support PoE. It is so commonplace now that most documentation for a camera won't highlight PoE as a key feature because it would be stranger for a camera not to support PoE, as you will see the datasheet for your camera does state PoE - https://www.use-ip.co.uk/datasheets...b_6mp_black_mini_dome_network_camera_28mm.pdf
