View NVR via webpage

I have the Hikvision DS-7608NI-E2-8P and trying to log into it via the IP address using Safari on a Mac. I have downloaded and installed the Mac plugin and made sure it is active.
The web page comes up with login name and password but I have tried my superuser details and it's having none of it and threatening to block me if I get it wrong too many times

I'm using Hik-Connect on my iphone and iVMS-4500HD on the iPad and the superuser login works fine.

Any ideas

UPDATE
tried again this morning and managed to login..eh? anyway looks a great GUI

However the live view screens don't show the video unless you select the cameras on the left menu.

is there anyway they can be set to automatically show the camera feed as every time you go out the live view screen and back in I have to manually select them again

Glad to hear it seemingly resolved itself. Odd stuff!

If you navigate to Configuration >> Local and tick "Auto Start Live View", then the live views of any connected camera will automatically play when logging in, which sounds like what you're after.
