What do you think is better for setting UP IP Camera surveillance!

Do you think, that is better to have a software installed on your PC, laptop, tablet or Smart phone or to use a cloud based service for storage, monitoring, recordings, motion detection. They have pretty good plans -http://www.fennocloudcam.com/ ,www.ivideon.com,https://sensr.net/, ...Let me know, what are your thoughts. I signed up with fennocloudcam and I think They are great for now....

Cloud based recording is a good solution for many and having a quick look at the three you listed they all look good. Personally i would suggest a local NVR to make all recording as it has better sustainability, no lag, not likely to fail, easy expansions , usually no monthly cost, better capability and better quality.

I personally do not prefer cloud because the main risk factor in it is secure. This cannot keep the data safely. The technology which does not guarantee a secure for itself won't be able to guarantee a secure for my home. So hence I prefer to go for PC, laptop, tablet or Smart phone. IP cameras can be easily configured to these. Watch the youtube videos here. Which talks about the benefits.

Thanks a lot for sharing good information . Even I was a bit confused between cloud and local .I will surely go for PC , laptops, tabs etc. These YouTube videos are great. A neat instruction about IR and how to fix it with bullet camera was my favorite.
