Which camera for Hikvision DS 7200 series

Hi, i have a Hikvision DS 7204 HQHI-K1 recorder, beem given by a friend.
Could someone recommend cameras for it, also cables.
we are after outdoor and indoor cameras.
Also when plugging it will i need to reset the device and i guess update the software?

I'm afraid we are really not the best people to help and advise with analogue CCTV / co-ax based solutions
As the site name suggests we use IP (always & only).
We don't sell analogue CCTV.
We never get hands-on with co-ax based solutions, DVRs, etc.
