hi Guys so I have a Wireless link from my cameras for my network, so basically when I plug the link into my laptop I can see the four cameras but when I plug the cable into my switch to join the network I loose the link completely and can’t see them any ideas

I guess it is something to do with IP addressing.
e.g. when you connect it directly to your laptop your NIC adapter is set to a range that matches the wireless link. But your laptop joins your general network via wi-fi in a different domain address range.
What make & model of wi-fi adapter are you using please?
Do you know the IP addresses of your laptop and your router?
Are you able to set the wireless link to an IP address within the same range?
Or set it to a DHCP mode where your router should be able to give the wireless link a suitable IP address.
