The Hikvision DS-2CD2385G1-I is one of the newest additions to the EasyIP 3.0 range released in April 2019 featuring an all new turret design.
Although this camera has the new 2019 design it still has the same great features as its predecessor with some added extras such as:
Darkfighter Technology ~ improving the cameras low light image quality
Exception Detection ~ scene change detection
With an IR range of up to 30m, an IP67 weather-proof housing and a working temperature of -30 °C to +60 °C, this camera perfect for a wide range of outdoor applications. This is supported by 3-axis adjustment for easy installation: Pan 0°~360°, Tilt 0°~75° and Rotate 0°~360°.
Smart Feature Set: - Line Crossing Detection - Intrusion Detection - Unattended Baggage Detection - Object Removal Detection - Face Detection
Armed with enhancing features such as; high light compensation (HLC), back light compensation (BLC), 3D digital noise reduction (3D DNR), and 120dB wide dynamic range (WDR), the DS-2CD2385G1-I gives a high quality, detailed image in low-light environments.
This camera can be powered via PoE or 12V DC power supply, we usually recommend PoE for ease of installation as you can get both power and data through the one cable.
Please note: this camera comes without a power supply.

Good solid construction I work on ships for a living as an engineer and i'd be inclined to fit these as a replacement to some of our dome cameras.
Excellent image quality, in most lighting conditions outside.
Clear to read number-plates even on moving vehicles.
Night Vision is good, all be it a tad powerful if objects are near but this is to be expected, very good throw of IR with just dark spots in the corners of the lens, these corners are gone when lens distortion correction is turned on anyway.
Image quality wise the is camera is great, motion detection, line crossing detection etc works well & is straightforward to set up.
One thing to note WRT downloaded video files is that if you are recording with the H265+ video compression format there are very few viewers/players that support the format other than the Hik player downloadable with the video files, or the current VLC player.
Overall quality is excellent via streaming and recordings.
Night time also excellent and very clear.
currently only gone to 1080p 20FPS but will change shortly to the highest settings to test.
Overall really pleased with this unit.
shame i bought 3 weeks before black ones came out lol ;-)
