The Zyxel XGS2210-52HP is a Gigabit Layer 2 switch with four 10G ports. This can be used to uplink with another switch or stacked together with the same switch by connecting their 10G ports to each other. As the needs for the converged data and video/voice networking are increasing in the SMB applications, the 10GbE connectivity is the core to ensure a consistent and seamless user experience. The unit features a built-in fan which has been specifically designed to automatically adjust its speed based on the device temperature delivers a silent and reliable switch operation.
This switch has a rich Layer 2 feature set that can shape the traffic for diverse VoIP, video conference, IPTV and Network AV deployments. Features such as L2 multicast, IGMP snooping, Multicase VLAN Registration (MVR) provide hotels, businesses and educational institutions greater agility and more effective traffic management for the converged applications of today.
Zyxel One Network has been designed to simplify the configuration, management and troubleshooting process allowing users to focus on their business priorities. The Zyxel One Network also provides and easy to use tool and Zyxel One Network Utility (ZON Utility) to realise speed network setup. As well as this Zyxel Smart Connect allows networking equipment to be aware and recognise each other, further facilitating the network maintenance via one-click remote functions such as factory reset or power cycling.
The XGS2210-52HP supports the 802.3at PoE Plus standard which provides up to 30 watts of power per port for advanced powered devices such as 802.11ac wireless access points and video IP phones. The devices high power budget allows it to easily accommodate the PDs required in a modern network edge. The XGS2210 switches deliver only the power required by the networked devices and reserve the rest and maximise its power budget.
