The fact that I can now be alerted immediately to any intruders is a great comfort but also I can alert relatives and friends (not to mention the police) closer to home to react in my absence.
My wife and family also feel much safer now as the cameras prominent position on the outside of the house hopefully will deter potential intruders.
Altogether a great product and does exactly what it says on the tin (box)!!
Firstly, it is tremendous value for money when compared with price other IP cam makers seem to want to charge and is much more within reach of most budgets I would say.
As for features it has just about everything I need - as well as being able to record to my own NAS box (as the camera has a SMB/CIFS recording built right into it) but also eyespy provide a cloud based service that I can backup my recordings to. IMHO it's worth using it for added peace of mind.
As for installation, I've used IP cams before so I knew what I had to do. That said, the camera has an auto register function allowing quick setup with the cloud service (which I imagine is what novices will be using) so eyespy seems have made an effort to simplify setup for those who've never used an IP cam before.
I suppose I should try and make an effort to balance out with some negatives but other than an improvement on the digital zoom I can't really pin point anything else to complain about - particularly given what you're getting for the price.
Overall very glad I found this little gem and well worth it.
