The Axis A4020-E reader has been designed specifically for use with Axis network door controllers and credentials and offers secure and touch-free entry for users. The unit is IP65, NEMA4X and IK07 rated and so is ideal for use in harsh environments both indoors and outdoors. As well as this a mullion-mount design enables the A4020-E to fit perfectly in narrow spaces and door frames.
The unit provides both flexibility and possibility to quickly respond to future changes whilst ensuring backward compatibility. Most smart RFID card standards with 13.56MHz credential technologies are supported by the A4020-E including MIFARE Classic, MIFARE Plus, MIFARE DESFire EV1, and EV2. Not only this but the unit supports Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) for secure bidirectional communication and enables easy and remote device management. This includes new features upgrades, device configuration, and security enhancement via Axis access control solutions.
The system is safeguarded and protected from unauthorised access with built-in cybersecurity features. Secure communications and connections are enables by Secure Channel Protocol (SCP). Signed firmware and secure boot guarantee firmware isn't compromised and ensures only authorised firmware is installed. Not only this but secure boot guarantees the reader is completely free of malware even after a factory default. The certified secure element hardware ensures all cryptographic keys are safe and securely stored and for the added peace of mind, it includes tamper detection, so you'll know if there are any interference attempts.

We offer free delivery on all orders over £50 via courier throughout the mainland UK.
