The D2210-VE is a high-frequency radar that can accurately detect, classify, and track objects in various weather and light conditions. It offers a 95° field of detection and can track humans up to 60m and vehicles up to 90m. With road monitoring profile enabled, the detection range for vehicles increases to 150m and it can monitor speeds up to 200km/h (125 mph). As well as this, the integrated dynamic LED strip can be used to deter, warn, notify or switched off for more discrete monitoring. PoE also lets users power an additional device without an extra cable drop.

- Radar Profiles:
- Area monitoring - A detection profile for radar in surveillance use cases. Best used for objects moving up to 55km/h (34 mph). Detects whether an object is a human, a vehicle, or an unknown object.
- Road monitoring - A detection profile for radar in traffic use cases. Best used to track vehicles moving at up to 200km/h (125 mph) in urban zones, closed zones, and on suburban roads. This mode should not be used for the detection or humans or other types of objects.
- Dynamic LED Strip can be used to deter, warn, or notify. It has RGB (red, green, blue) LEDs and predefined light patterns.
- Edge-to-edge can make IP devices communicate directly with each other. It offers smart pairing functionality between, for example, Axis cameras and Axis audio or radar products.
- AXIS Edge Vault is a secure cryptographic compute module, capable of keeping an Axis device ID secure and permanently stored and installed. Cybersecurity is further enhanced by Signed Firmware, Secure Boot, and, TPM (Trusted Platform Module).
