The Axis D3110 connectivity hub enables network video systems without sensors or audio to integrate them into the system. The unit features 8 supervised configurable I/Os, an RS485/RS422 port, a relay, and two audio-in ports enabling users to integrate a wide range of non-visual sensors. Door switches, and smoke and temperature detectors, can be connected to the system to trigger an alert and motion sensors can be set to trigger a live audio stream. Audio capabilities including alarms can be added to the solution with the two audio-in and one audio-out port.
The D3110 is used as an audio sensor main unit which makes it ideal for use in applications that need extra awareness or areas that don't require visual monitoring. The unit provides superb audio quality thanks to the voice enhancement feature which provides improved noise suppression and automatic gain control for lower microphone sensitivity. As well as this the 10-band equaliser makes it possible to filter out specific sound frequencies.
Secure and seamless integration into an Axis end-to-end solution is possible with support for VAPIX, MQTT and SIP. This means users are able to get a system that is tailored to their needs through perfectly matched components with a single point of contact. Not only this but the D3110 comes with built-in cybersecurity functionality which includes signed firmware, secure boot and Axis Edge Vault. Additional customised applications can be run with the device's support for Axis Camera Application Platform (version 4).
