The Axis Q1656-DLE combines both video and radar analytics in one device. Video analytics provide precise localisation and object classification powered by deep learning and radar analytics add distance and speed measurements and classification based on deep learning. This combination provides improved scene intelligence and the forensic value of video.
Not only this but the Q1656-DLE joins two premium devices, and users get a superior Q-line camera with excellent image usability combined with a fully integrated radar. The radar is able to detect objects over wide areas with little to no light and visualises the speed and distance of moving objects directly in the application view. As well as this users can use the radar separately to guide a standalone PTZ camera.
Featuring a robust design, the Q1656-DLE is protected by an IP66 weather-resistant and IK08 impact-resistant housing. This protects the camera against both harsh outdoor weather conditions and vandal attempts.
Users of this camera benefit from double the technology with just one device to install, one IP address and one video management software reducing both installation and lifetime costs. Along with this users can save energy as radar 'sees' in the dark enabling triggers to activate floodlights, IR or facade lights to be set only when deterrence, visual verification, or forensic detail is required.
