Details
The Axis Q1961-TE thermal bullet camera lets users remotely monitor temperatures from -40°C ~ 350°C, so they do not have to be onsite in order to know if their equipment is overheating. A user will be notified if the temperature passes a set threshold or if it increases or decreases too rapidly. As well as this the camera supports up to 10 configurable polygonal detection areas enabling users to monitor areas for specific temperature levels. Spot temperature reading allows users to click on the image and see the exact temperature in a specific area.
As well as offering powerful analytics capabilities, the Q1961-TE is equipped with early fire detection preinstalled which makes it possible to set triggers and receive warnings about early signs of fire or potential overheating. Users can disregard irrelevant hot objects with smart filtering to reduce the number of false alerts received.
The Q1961-TE is ideal for use in a range of applications in harsh environments as it is highly resistant to corrosion. Encased in an IP66, IP67, IK10 and NEMA-4X rated housing the unit is protected against rain, dust and impacts. Unauthorised access is prevented by the camera's built-in cybersecurity features, and the Axis device ID is protected by Axis Edge Vault. Not only this but the Q1961-TE is FIPS 140-2 level 2 certified.

Features Explained:
- Thermal Imaging detects objects using infrared radiation emitted by all objects. Thermal cameras have excellent object detection capabilities regardless of light conditions, even in total darkness.
- Built-in Cybersecurity features have been created and applied to counter different types of cyber attacks, effectively battle vulnerabilities and prevent unauthorised access to users' systems. These features are able to detect firmware tampering and prevent device replacement, this safeguards the system and helps reduce the risk of digital attacks.
- Electronic Image Stabilisation enables the camera to provide smooth video even in scenarios where the camera is subject to vibrations. This can occur when cameras are mounted on high poles or near busy roads and can be shaken by winds or passing traffic.
- Zipstream preserves all the important forensic details users need whilst lowering storage and bandwidth requirements and costs but an average of 50%.
