The Axis M4216-LV is a compact and discreet dome network camera which delivers brilliant images even in challenging light conditions. Featuring a deep learning processing unit (DPLU), users will benefit from intelligent applications based on a deep learning on the edge.
With Axis Optimized IR, the camera provides exceptional clarity even in total darkness, the built-in IR LEDs can reach up to 20m. If infrared is not required, please see the Axis M4216-V (02112-001).
Designed for indoor surveillance, the M4216-LV provides 4MP for a wide 4:3 view and 3MP for a 16:9 aspect ratio. And, thanks to the varifocal lens which ranges 3mm-6mm it offers a flexible viewing angle of 45°-100°. Users have access to remote zoom and auto focus capabilities, meaning there is no need for hands-on fine tuning.
When installed in areas that may be subject to challenging light conditions, the M4216-LV uses Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) to ensure clarity even when there are both light and dark areas within the scene. As well as WDR, the M4216-V also features Lightfinder technology to provide sharp, colourful images in low light.

Due to the compact and flexible design, this varifocal dome offers a wide range of accessories which allow it to be installed almost anywhere including in recessed ceilings for discreet surveillance. And, with the vandal/impact and dust resistant casing, the M4216-V provides reassurance that it will always be safe and secure.
Furthermore, the M4216-LV offers great possibilities to add value to the camera and extend the functionality of the surveillance system. With a DPLU, it enables unique opportunities to take advantage of intelligent analytics based on deep learning on the edge. As well as featuring Axis Object Analytics which enables object classification for reliable detection with fewer false alarms.
The M4216-LV also offers the flexibility to add audio or I/O connectivity using Axis T61 Audio and I/O Interface. The HDMI port lets users display live video on a public viewing monitor, ideal for shop entrances, garage viewing areas, banks, receptions and waiting rooms.
