The Axis P3248-LVE is a network dome camera, providing high quality images in 5MP resolution. With IK10 and IP66 ratings, the camera is weather and vandal resistant. This makes the device a great option for outdoor surveillance, particularly in areas that it could be subject to wear and tear, or vandalism, such as public car parks, shopping centers and schools.
Featuring Axis Object Analytics, the P3248-LVE successfully detects and classifies humans and vehicles. Using smart algorithms, the technology reduces false alarms that are often triggered by fast moving shadows on the ground, animals, or moving vegetation. Users are then able to focus solely on areas of interest and true threats. Furthermore, with two-way audio and I/O connectivity, users can add audio analytics when adding 3rd party equipment.
The P3248-LVE is also equipped with Axis Lightfinder 2.0 and Axis Forensic WDR to deliver true colour images and superb detail whether that be in challenging light scenarios or near darkness. Also, OptimizedIR further increases the ability to capture high quality images for surveillance in darkness, the IR supplement lighting has a range of up to 40m. Finally, the motion-adaptive exposure significantly reduces motion blur from either approaching, or nearby objects.
Axis Zipstream supports H.264 and H.265 video compression which significantly reduces bandwidth and storage capacity. Axis Edge Vault provides the P3248-LVE with enhanced security features by protecting your device ID whilst simplifying authorisation of Axis products on your network.
