The Axis P3727-PLE is a panoramic camera that features four channels with 2-megapixel sensors per channel. The multi-directional camera allows for flexible positioning of four varifocal camera heads which can each be controlled individually, thus allowing users to capture scenes in four directions in wide-angle or zoomed-in views.
With both day and night functionality the P3727-PLE can capture high quality, true colour images. It also features 360° IR illuminations by the way of individually controllable IR LEDs, combined with an automatic IR cut filter, image quality during low light or complete darkness will be enhanced, providing clear, reflection-free footage. And, thanks to Forensic WDR the P3727-PLE ensures image clarity when there are both dark and light areas in one scene.
Axis Object Analytics can run on one of the four channels allowing users to detect and classify people and vehicles entering a user-defined area or crossing a user-defined virtual line. This is ideal for monitoring large areas and lobbies.
Using four camera heads in one camera, the P3727-PLE offers fast, accurate and cost-effective installation. With only one device to install, one cable to draw, one IP address, one VMS license and just one license for any optional analytics, it couldn't be more simple. Remote zoom and focus functions eliminate the need for hands-on fine-tuning, plus with the snap-fit installation, the casing simple snaps on and into place.
The P3727-PLE uses Axis Edge Vault to protect your device ID and simplifies the authorisation of Axis products on your network. It also includes a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) that is FIPS 140-2 level 2 certified. Axis Zipstream is also featured within the P3727-PLE, this significantly lowers bandwidth and storage requirements without compromising image quality, ideal for streaming multiple video streams as unnecessary data can be heavily compressed. Also, thanks to edge storage the footage can be recorded to not one but two onboard MicroSD cards (not included).
