Details
The P3905-R Mk II is a network camera with a 2-megapixel resolution, designed for video surveillance in vehicles and rolling stock like buses, trains and emergency vehicles. It features a 3.6mm lens providing a horizontal field of view of 87°.
With an ingress protection rating of IP66, the P3905-R Mk II is resistant and resilient to dust, dirt and water ingress. This makes it suitable for indoor or outdoor installations where the camera could be subject to such elements. The camera can also withstand tough conditions such as vibrations, shocks, bumps and temperature fluctuations adding to its suitability for public transport.
Adding to this, the P3905-R Mk II complies with an extensive list of transportation-industry regulations, including fire-safety and EN50155:2017 Class OT2/ST2 (EN50155:2007 Class TX) standards. Users can also install the device alongside the optional T96B05 Outdoor Housing to further protect it from harsh weather conditions and vandalism attempts.
Features such as WDR - Forensic Capture and Axis Lightfinder technology ensure that the P3905-R Mk II is specially adapted to provide shark HDTV 1080p image quality, even onboard moving vehicles where light levels often shift at speed. Axis Lightfinder technology enables the camera to produce colour images, even in near darkness and Traffic Light mode helps to better delineate the colour of traffic lights in very dark scenes.
The P3905-R Mk II features Axis Zipstream technology. The technology has been proven to reduce storage and bandwidth requirements up with up to 50% reductions, resulting in high quality, usable images with no need for excessive servers or storage requirements.
Finally, the P3905-R Mk II is powered by PoE and has a low max power budget of 3.6W.
