The Q2101-TE is a thermal camera, from Axis, designed for large-scale remote temperature monitoring. It comes equipped with a selection of capabilities and analytics allowing it to fulfil this purpose as effectively as possible, these include; thermometric guard tour, early fire detection, spot temperature reading, and more..
Features Explained:
- Thermometry refers to capabilities that allow the camera to detect objects using infared radiation. Thermometric cameras can measure absolute temperatures, and are capable of accurate object detection regardless of lighting conditions - working effectively even in complete darkness.
- Isothermal Palette is a mode that allows the user to select a colour range to represent different temperatures in a scene. Each colour in a isotherm palatte will respond to a specific temperature value. Users can choose between black and white ranges, colour ranges, or a mix.
- Thermometric Guard Tour is a way to measure temperatures in predefined polygonal detection areas. To use this capabillity the camera must be installed on a positioning unit, to move between preset positions. Users can add up to 256 presets, with up to 10 detection areas, effective for large-scale moniotoring.
- AXIS Edge Vault is a secure cryptographic compute module, capable of keeping an Axis device ID secure and permanently stored and installed.Cybersecurity is further enhanced by Signed Firmware, Secure Boot, and, TPM (Trusted Platform Module).
- EIS (Electronic Image Stabalisation) is an image enhancement capability equipped to provide smooth video quality in environments subject to vibrations. This is achieved using built-in gyroscopic sensors that continuously detect the camera's movements and vibrations.
