Details
The Bosch NDE-5502-AL is a 2-megapixel dome camera featuring a 3~9mm varifocal lens. This enables users to select the area of coverage which best suits their requirements within this range (106°~37° horizontal field of view). The unit is easy to install with an auto zoom/focus lens, wizard and pre-configured modes.
Built-in video analysis strengthens the Intelligence-at-the-Edge concept which delivers more powerful features. Essential Video Analytics has been designed for use in controlled environments with limited detection ranges. Users can be alerted when predefined alarms are triggered, as well as this, the system reliably detects, tracks, and analyses objects.
The NDE-5502-AL features High Dynamic Range which is based on a multi-exposure process which is able to capture the finer details in scenes with bright and dark areas. This enables users to easily distinguish between objects and features including faces in scenes with bright backgrounds. Not only this but the unit features Content-based Imaging Technology (CBIT) which has been designed to improve the image quality in all lighting conditions as well as identify areas in need of enhanced processing. Essential Video Analytics examines the scenes and then provides feedback to retune the image processing.
Equipped with Intelligent streaming, bandwidth and storage requirements are reduced. H.265 compression technology is able to produce quality images whilst reducing both bandwidth and storage costs by up to 80% when compared to H.264 technology. The camera is able to provide the clearest image possible by optimising the detail-to-bandwidth ratio. Along with Intelligent Streaming, the NDE-5502-A features Intelligent Dynamic Noise Reduction, which analyses the contents of a scene and then reduces noise artefacts accordingly. Bitrates are reduced by up to 80% without compromising image quality.
The camera is ideal for outdoor use with its IP66 and IK10-rated housing protecting the camera against both harsh outdoor weather conditions and vandal attempts. As well as this, the camera features IR LEDs effective up to 45.
