The Axis TP3816-E is an optional black casing designed to be used to replace the original white casing of the Axis P3807-PVE 180° Panoramic Camera 01048-001.
Changing the appearance of the camera is a unique option brought to users by Axis Communications. Often, black camera casing is requested by end users to blend in aesthetically to the architecture of the building.
Alternatively CCTV is often used as a deterrent to crime. By replacing the white casing with the black option, the P3807-PVE is more likely to stand out against a lighter colour wall or ceiling, therefore increasing the chances of it becoming more effective at deterring crime.
The TP3816-E has been rated IP66 which means it offers sufficient protection to keep the P3807-PVE camera safe from dust, water and dirt ingress. For extra protection, the included weather-shield increases the IP protection from IP66 to IP67. Also rated IK10, the TP3816-E offers a robust protection against impact and vandal attempts. This is particularly useful if the camera is situated in easy-to-reach areas or public spaces.
Supported by Axis 3 Year Warranty which ensures the TP3816-E will be free from defects in design, workmanship and materials under substantial normal use from the date of the shipment, the black camera casing is a cost effective way to upgrade or change the overall appearance of an entire system.
