Hello Nick,
Unfortunately, this will not work, you will struggle with internal reflections from the infra-red LEDs back from the inside of the camera housing glass window.

I intend to use as indoor IP camera. Can I get a mounting for top of kitchen wall-cabinet? If not , can the camera tilt/turn on the wall-mounting bracket to get required view?
Many thanks

Hello Lim,
You should be able to achieve that with the supplied mounting bracket.

The camera is supplied with a plug-top mains PSU, which develops 12V DC for the camera.
This Power Supply Unit (PSU) has a 1m lead, and a further 2.5m power extension lead is supplied in the box.

The video clips stored on the SD card are in AVI format. The files can be downloaded manually to any computer and played back via any media player that supports AVI files (e.g. VLC).

Question by: Rod on 27 Nov 2012 12:10:28
Hello Rod,
You shouldn't have any problems viewing your EyeSpy247 camera via W7 64-bit.
FYI there is also a 32-bit version of Internet Explorer built into W7 which you can access via Start -> All Programs if you wish to check that.

I have a Netgear Ready Nas Pro 6 Server, will these cameras be able to record on to the server and also access my sever from aboard, to watch any stills or video recorded on to the server. Thank you

Question by: Andrew on 19 Aug 2012 15:03:18
Hello Andrew,
I don't think the Netgear NAS you mention runs a CCTV App or software, so whilst you will be able to write files to it to record from your cameras, when you access those remotely they will be just files. Better to use CCTV software (on a PC) that allows a remote client for access and playback, such as Luxriot. Alternatively, a Nas-based solution such as Synology's with their Surveillance Station App which allows remote access, viewing and playback.
OR, use EyeSpy247's own web-based portal solution.

Initially this will be used indoors, but eventually outdoors above head height with access requiring a short ladder. Can I manage the SD card via the software so I don't have to remove it from the camera if I want to delete recordings etc?

How long is the power cable supplied with this EyeSpy247 EXT+ camera please?

Question by: Tahir on 4 Apr 2012 10:14:44
Hello Tahir,
The standard power cable is about 1m long, but there is a 2.5m extension cable included in the box.
You can extend the power cable further by buying the 3m EyeSpy247 extension cable.
The extension cable provided with the camera has a waterproof connector, and therefore can be used outdoors.
The additional accessory extension lead is not weatherproof, and therefore must be used indoors only.
The manufacturer recommends no more than two extension leads are joined (to prevent any issues arising from supply volts reduction). If you need to extend further, you will need to use a mains extension cable to present a mains socket nearer to the camera location.

I only came across this camera by chance when I was hunting for an outdoor HD IP cam and I'm glad I did for several reasons.
