Details
The Geovision GV-PBL8800 is an 8-megapixel panoramic bullet camera featuring a 1.68mm lens enabling the camera to provide 180° horizontal coverage. This makes the camera ideal for use in wide, open areas, and is cost-effective for users who only have to purchase one camera to survey a whole scene instead of multiple cameras to get the same area of coverage.
As well as covering wide areas, the GV-PBL8800 features an IP67 and IK10-rated housing protecting the camera against both harsh outdoor weather conditions and vandal attempts. This makes the unit ideal for use in a range of outdoor applications including in parks, car parks, city centres etc.
Equipped with an automatic IR-cut filter and IR LEDs effective up to 15m the GV-PBL8800 is able to produce high-quality images in both day and nighttime scenarios. Providing users with peace of mind that no matter the time this camera will be able to capture clear surveillance images.
The camera is also empowered by deep learning algorithms that are able to distinguish humans and vehicles from other moving objects. When integrated with Geovision's VMS (video management software) the camera supports AI perimeter protection. real-time alert, playback and more.
With a choice of either 12V DC or PoE (Power over Ethernet) power, the device could not be easier to install. Selecting PoE will make the installation even simpler as both the power and data will be transported across the one cable saving both installer time and cost.
