The DS-1280ZJ-M is a junction box to be used with Hikvision's turret cameras.
A junction box offers a water tight space to contain the pig tail leads of the turret camera when mounting externally. We also recommend using a junction box in order to help with achieving the required viewing angle.
The junction box should be installed on the flat surface, the maximum load capacity of the bracket is 4.5Kg. If using within an outdoor application, the waterproof rubber seal is necessary. The wall must be capable of supporting at least 3 times as much as the total weight of the camera and the bracket.
