The AXIS Q1726 Block Camera is a powerful AI-powered surveillance camera with a 4.7-10mm wide lens. Zipstream supports AV1, H.264 and H.265, which will lower bandwidth and storage costs. This camera installs with ease and operates even in low-light due to its large 1/1.8" sensor. It is built with AXIS Object Analytics, AXIS Live Privacy Shield, and AXIS Image Health Analytics preinstalled, which guarantees impressive performance. This camera can withstand extreme temperatures and is equipped with Axis Edge Vault, our cybersecurity platform, to ensure optimal security. This hardware-based platform safeguards the device, offering FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified key storage and operation.
Features Explained:
- AV1 is a modern video encoding standard optimised for video transmission over the internet by Alliance for Open Media (AoM). It was designed to provide better compression efficiency while being royalty-free and open-source.
- AXIS Edge Vault is a secure cryptographic compute module, capable of keeping an Axis device ID secure and permanently stored and installed. Cybersecurity is further enhanced by Signed Firmware, Secure Boot, and, TPM (Trusted Platform Module).
- AXIS Object Analytics comes pre-installed, and offers a selection of analytics for human and vehicle classification, powered by AI-based algorithms.
Object classes: humans / vehicles (types: cars, buses, trucks, bikes)
Features: line crossing, object in area, occupancy in area, up to 10 scenarios, visualised metadata (with trajectories and colour-coding), polygon include/exclude areas, and, ONVIF motion alarm event.
- Axis Live Privacy Shield remotely monitors activities while safeguarding privacy in real-time. It enables masking of moving and still objects and works in real-time on both live and recorded video streams.
- WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) helps to ensure that camera images are usable and clear. In some scenes, there can be a contrast between the darkest and brightest spots in a scene, this can cause the image to be under or overexposed making it difficult, even impossible to identify objects and people. WDR technology can help rectify this issue, producing clear images regardless of difficult light scenarios.
- Electronic image stabilisation enables the camera to provide smooth video even in scenarios where the camera is subject to vibrations. This can occur when cameras are mounted on high poles or near busy roads and can be shaken by winds or passing traffic
