The IMM12018 is a 12MP Multi-Sensor camera, with 4 x 3MP image sensors and a horizontal FOV of 180°
Users are offered the choice between 3 different mounting designs, In-Ceiling (IMM12018-1EI), Surface (IMM12018-1ES), and Pendent (IMM12018-1EP)
As a part of Pelco's Optera IMM, Multi-Sensor, range, the IMM12018 offers a wide variety of impressive camera specs, and surveillance capabilities. This includes; a selection of user-configurable Analytics, impressive Low-Light performance, support for Pelco Camera Link, and Panoramic capabilities.
Pelco Camera Link
Using Pelco Camera Link users can experience the capabilities of both Multi-sensor and PTZ cameras, as the IMM series can be connected to Spectra Enhanced PTZs. This allows for a single video surveillance system to offer both the seamless panoramic views of Optera, and, the pan, tilt, and zoom capabilities of Spectra.
The IMM12018 is also ONVIF compliant, allowing for integration with Pelco Video Management Systems (VMS) - this includes Pelco VideoXpert, and allows for the use of additional surveillance analytics and an intuitive system interface. Low Light Performance
Equipped with SureVision the IMM12018 offers impressive image quality and excellent low-light performance, taking advantage of image enhancement technologies. These include; 120dB WDR (wide dynamic range), Anti-bloom, 3DNR (3D noise filtering), and, Advanced tone mapping.
Supported Analytics
IMM series cameras also feature support for 8 user-configurable Analytic behaviours, and are capable of running up to 2 behaviours simultaneously. Supported analytics include:
Abandoned Object - Used to detect objects within a defined zone, triggering an alarm if an object remains there for longer than the user-defined time allows. This behaviour can be used to detect suspicious items left in sensitive environments - for instance, it can be used to detect possible card skimming at an ATM.
Adaptive Motion detection - Equipped to detect and track objects that enter a scene, and to trigger an alarm if they enter a user-defined zone. This is primarily used in outdoor environments with light traffic, and helps to reduce the amount of false alarms (usually triggered by environment changes)
Camera Sabotage - Detects contrast changes in the camera's field of view, triggering an alarm if the lens becomes obstructed (by spray paint, cloth, lens cap, etc), or if any unauthorised repositioning occurs.
Directional Motion detection - Equipped for use in high traffic areas. Used to generate an alarm when a person / object is detected moving in a specified direction - a behaviour that is typically used in installations like airport gates, where cameras are used to check that passangers are moving in the direction of the usual flow of traffic.
Loitering detection - Identifies when people / vehicles have been in a defined zone longer than the user-defined time allows. This is an effective behaviour to use in the real-time notification of suspicious behaviour.
Object Counting - Used to count the number of objects that enter a defined zone, making it effective for a range of people counting applications (such as, monitoring the number of people inside a store / at the store's enterance). Please note, this behaviour is based on tracking, so cannot count objects in a crowded setting.
Object Removal - Triggers an alarm if an object is removed from a user-defined zone, allowing users to monitor high value objects.
Stopped Vehicle - Used to detects when a vehicle stops near a sensitive area for longer than the user-defined time allows. This behaviour is ideal for monitoring curbside drop-offs, suspicious parking, traffic lane breakdowns, and parking enforcement.
Simple Motion detection is also supported, but must be configured from a VMS
