Details
The S7820L-PW is a part of the Spectra Enhanced IR Look-up 7 series, Pelco's range of advanced PTZ cameras, designed with impressive image quality, performance, and embedded features.
With 4K, 3840x2160 resolution, and 20X optical zoom, the S7820L-PW is an ideal addition to Pelco systems, for any user in need of an effective Pan, Tilt, and Zoom Camera solution.
Main Features
Dependable Surveillance
Built to include +30° look-up tilt, reaching above the horizon, and automated IR illumination (allowing for impressive image quality, regardless of the time of day or amount of light in a scene) users can effectively keep an eye on a scene at all times, never missing an incident.
Additionally, the S7820L-PW also includes Optical Image Stabalisation (to keep footage clear in high-vibration environments), SureVision low light performance, and, 130dB Wide Dynamic Range (WDR - to keep footage detailed and clear even in very bright or dim lighting conditions) allowing for PTZ surveillance to remain clear and dependable at all times.
To further improve the video surveillance experience, Spectra Enhanced 7 series cameras are also designed for easy VMS Integration, connecting with VideoXpert (Pelco's intuitive and well equipped Video Management system)

Easy to Control
With low latency video, and Direct Drive closed loop control, the S7820L-PW is both easy to control, and enables impressive pan / tilt speeds of up to 450° per second. This allows for the camera to be positioned on target with ease, avoiding perceived delays (helping to capture critical evidence when needed).
Direct Drive closed loop also offers limited wear and tear, silent movement, and extremely accurate positioning.
Laser Focus Assist
The S7820L-PW also comes equipped with Laser focus assist technology, allowing for the rapid pinpoint of targets, keeping clear details in fast changing scenes. This can be used in multiple scenarios, with one example being the capture of licence plates - even at night, with a moving vehicle, and glaring headlights, users can keep focus on a specific licence plate, furthering the 40X laser focus PTZ's impressive surveillance capabilities.
Pelco Advanced Analytics
The selection of analytics included in the S7820L-PW are made up of 2 basic and 8 enhanced user-configurable behaviours, with the camera being capable of running up to 2 enhanced and 2 basic behaviours together at one time.
Users can create several custom profiles for each behaviour, each containing different camera settings, allowing for the automatic detection and triggering of alarms for specific activity.
Supported Analytic Behaviours include:
Camera Sabotage (Basic) - Detects contrast changes within the camera's field of view, triggering an alarm if the lens becomes obstructed by spray paint, a cloth, or lens cap. An alarm is also triggered by any unauthorised camera re-positioning.
Region Based, Simple Motion Detection (Basic) - Based on sensitivity, this allows the camera to determine if sufficient motion is detected in a defined region.
Abandoned Object (Enhanced) - Detects objects placed within a defined zone, triggering an alarm if one remains in a zone longer than the user-defined time allows. Examples - Can be used to detect suspicious items left in an airport terminal, or to detect objects left behind at an ATM, signalling possible card skimming.
Adaptive Motion Detection (Enhanced) - Detects and tracks objects as they enter a scene, triggering an alarm if one enters a user-defined zone. Example - Can be used in outdoor environments with light traffic, as it helps to reduce the amount of false alarms triggered by environmental changes.
AutoTracker (Enhanced) - Detects and tracks movement within the camera's field of view. Once the AutoTracker has been configured, the system automatically pans and tilts to follow a detected / specified moving object, until it stops or leaves the monitored area.
Directional Motion (Enhanced) - Generates an alarm when a detected object moves in a specified direction, within an area of high traffic. Examples - Can be used to detect objects moving against the usual flow of traffic, or if an individual enters through an exit door.
Loitering Detection (Enhanced) - Identifies when people or vehicles remain in a specified zone for longer than the user-defined time allows. This is effective in the monitoring and real-time notification of suspicious behaviour.
Object Counting (Enhanced) - Counts the number of objects that enter a defined zone (Please Note: this behaviour is based on tracking, so can not be used to count people in a crowded setting) Example - Can be used to count the number of people at an entrance/exit or inside the monitored location.
Object Removal (Enhanced) - Triggers an alarm if an object is removed from a user-defined zone. This is ideal for detecting the removal of high value objects. Example - Can be used to alert security is a painting is removed from a wall, or statue from its pedestal.
Stopped Vehicle (Enhanced) - Detects vehicles stopped near sensitive locations for longer than the user-defined time allows. Examples - Can be used to monitor curbside drop-offs, suspicious parking, traffic lane breakdowns, or for parking enforcement.
