The Veracity CAMSWITCH 8 Mobile is the ideal solution for installing IP cameras and other POE and network devices in transport, battery/solar powered, and other low-voltage applications.
It integrates a 10 port 10/100 Ethernet switch with the capability to convert an 8 to 40 volt DC supply into an 80 watt IEEE 802.3af/at conpliant power source.
CAMSWITCH 8 Mobile features:
8 x 802.3at POE Ports
2 x non-POE Ports
1 x DC Power Input
CAMSWITCH Mobile delivers up to 80 watts of IEEE802.3af / 802.3at compatible POE power to POE devices from a DC voltage as low as 8 volts, providing continuous operation during engine cranking or low battery scenarios. Ports may also be used for non-POE equipment such as mobile NVRs
With CAMSWITCH Mobile's internal 10/100 Ethernet switch being entirely self-configuring to speed, duplex and cable type, and POE being automatically detected and able, installation is quick and easy. Installation is further improved as no user configuration is required.
Optional and adjustable mounting brackets are included with the VCS-8P2-MOB. Please see the below notes bout the included wall mount clips.
The enclosed mounting clips can be clipped where required along the side of the unit to permit surface mounting.
Up to M5 screws can be used at 122mm separation.
Consult the power chart in the quick start guide if ventilation is restricted.
To mount the unit securely to a flat surface, fit the easy to use clips as shown in the diagram below

We offer free delivery on all orders over £50 via courier throughout the mainland UK.
