Details
The Vivotek FD9389-EHV-v2 is a 5-megapixel outdoor dome camera with a resolution of 2560 x 1920 at 30 frames per second. The camera is also able to provide images at 60 frames per second at a resolution of 1920 x 1080.
With SNV and WDR Pro technology, the FD9389-EHV-v2 is able to capture high-quality images in both high-contrast and low-light environments. The FD9389-EHV-v2 is fitted with a fixed 2.8mm lens, providing users with a 103° wide-angle area of coverage, making it ideal for use in applications that require a large area to be monitored. As well as this the FD9389-EHV-v2 features IR illuminators that are effective up to 30 metres for improved night visibility, thus making the unit ideal for both day and night security.
This camera can be used in both indoor and outdoor applications with its IP66 rated weather-resistant and IK10 rated vandal-resistant housing which also protects the camera against both harsh outdoor weather conditions and vandal attempts. Along with this, the unit has a max working temperature of -40°C ~ 60°C further increasing the usability of the camera in a wide range of applications.
Featuring Vivotek's Smart Stream III technology and H.265 codec support, bandwidth can be reduced by up to 90% compared to the use of H.264 codec, all whilst maintaining its high-quality image. This can save users on storage costs as they can use smaller hard drives and still get the number of storage days they require.
