The CD9381-HNTV, from Vivotek, offers a design specifically made with prison and correctional facility environments in mind. With ratings of IP67 and IK10+, its design also offers resistance to weather and vandals, so users do not have to worry about their camera being damaged, or their footage interrupted.
Due to its specific environment focused design (effective for Prisons, holding cells, psychiatric wards, mental hospitals, and correctional facilities) the CD9381-HNTV offers a variety of features that users will find highly useful, and even necessary in such applications. These features include:
Anti-ligature - Is designed to limit possibilites of self-inflicted harm or suicide
Corner Installation - Its design is fit for installation in the upper corner of a cell
Wide Range Coverage - Has a wide angle horizontal FOV (95° ~ 41°) and vertical FOV (69° ~ 31°), to offer full coverage of a wide space (like a cell)
WDR Pro and SNV Technology - Allows for better image quality where variable lighting is a concern, and for full-colour surveillance under low-light conditions.
DORI: Standing for Detect, Observe, Recognise and Identify, a camera's DORI distance provides users with a general overview of its ability to distinguish between objects or people within its field of view.
