The CD9381-HNVF2, from Vivotek, is a Vandal resistant, fixed-dome camera, that offers a design specific for environments like, prisons or correctional facilities. With a rating of IP67, its design also offers weather resistance.
Due to its specific environment focused design (effective for Prisons, holding cells, psychiatric wards, mental hospitals, and correctional facilities) the CD9381-HNVF2 offers a variety of features that users will find highly useful, and even necessary in such applications. These features include:
Anti-ligature - Is designed to limit possibilites of self-inflicted harm or suicide
Corner Installation - Its design is fit for installation in the upper corner of a cell
Wide Range Coverage - Features a wide FOV range, with a horizontal FOV of up to 124°, and a Vertical FOV of up to 92°.
WDR Pro and SNV Technology - Allows for better image quality where variable lighting is a concern, and for full-colour surveillance under low-light conditions.
DORI: Standing for Detect, Observe, Recognise and Identify, a camera's DORI distance provides users with a general overview of its ability to distinguish between objects or people within its field of view.
