The Vivotek FD9167-HT-v2 fixed dome camera is the replacement for the FD9167-HT and features a new outdoor design with an IP54 rated housing to provide the camera with protection from water and dust. As well as this, the camera is fitted with a 2 megapixel lens with a maximum frame rate of up to 60fps, to provide users with great quality images. Not only this but the FD9167-HT-v2 also features a built-in microphone, I/O functionality, and the latest Vivotek SNV, WDR Pro, and Smart IR II technology, all of which help the camera to supply clear image quality in both low light and high contrast environments. This makes the camera ideal for use in a wide range of scenarios including offices, schools and warehouses.
The FD9167-HT-v2 has a new installation-friendly design which was created to make the installation process easier for users and installers. The modular design means that it can be installed in 3 simple steps, this saves users both time and cost.
Along with this, the camera is equipped with a wealth of technologies and Vivotek developed an AI-powered detection engine for people forms. Based on a people silhouette database and rapid responses via a pre-trained deep learning model, the smart engine instantly recognizes the appearance of people forms in the video surveillance area which helps greatly reduce false alarms compared to conventional motion detection.
Built-in cybersecurity capabilities keep users' data safe and secure. In order to do this the FD9167-HT-v2 features signed firmware, secure boot and Trend Micro IoT Security which ensures only trusted firmware with Vivotek digital signature can be installed, protect the system from attacks or infections by malicious unauthenticated code and provides multi-layer protection with the latest signature upgrades.
