The Wisenet XNV-8081RE is a 5 megapixel power over ethernet outdoor vandal dome camera.
This solution has been designed for covering greater distances and is perfect for a two camera installation with one power source (PoE+). Compatible with all Wisenet cameras.
Users can utilise the power supply from the PoE entender for other devices such as Flood Lights and Motion Sensors.
This camera is part of the X Plus series of cameras and so benefits includes:
- quick and simple installation
- magnets locking sensor modules into dome housing
- prefigure IP network settings without the need to remove the camera module from the box.
Hanwha wanted to create a camera for those who may have a reduced security budget and so they created this range of Power over Ethernet Extender cameras as a cost-effective way to add a camera or another PoE enabled device to an existing system, users can also install a new two-camera video surveillance.
Along with being good value for end-users, the XNV-8081RE also provides great benefits for installers as the setup of the product is quick and easy. Designed to save end-users money and installers time, the cameras feature magnets that lock sensor modules into the dome housing and a water-resistant gland for the network cable to be inserted with the aid of an RJ45 plastic push-through device. Installers and technicians are able to configure IP network settings from wherever without needing to remove the camera module from its packaging.
For retrofit applications where an additional camera is needed, system integrators need to simply substitute an existing Wisenet camera with a PoE Extender camera, and then re-install it at the new camera location, with both devices being able to share the same cable run.
The XNV-8081RE comes with a wide range of license-free specialist analytics such as directional detection, virtual line, enter/exit, appear/disappear and loitering detection. The camera also features an audio analysis function that is able to recognise critical sounds including explosions, screams and broken glass, then immediately generates an alert to enable emergency services to react quickly and effectively to an incident.
