The AXIS M1113 Fixed Network Camera with its CS-mount, 2.9~8.2mm varifocal, DC-iris lens provides excellent image quality without motion blur using a progressive scan CMOS image sensor at 30 frames per second in SVGA resolution. Multiple H.264 streams, as well as Motion JPEG streams, can be provided either in full frame rate or individually optimized for different quality needs and bandwidth constraints.
The Power over Ethernet capabilities of the M1113 allows power to be supplied to the camera via the network, eliminating the need for power cables and reducing installation costs.
The pixel counter further helps the installer verify that the pixel resolution of an object or face fulfills regulatory or specific customer requirements, for example, for facial identification purposes.
In addition, the AXIS M1113 Fixed Network Camera supports digital pan/tilt/zoom, which allows a view cropped from the full view to be streamed for viewing or recording.
All in all, the AXIS M1113 Fixed Network Camera offers a professional and affordable fixed camera suitable for a wide range of video surveillance applications both commercial and personal either indoors, or in an outdoor housing.

Product Questions (2)
If we want to stream an image from this camera across a 1.5M T1 internet line, will that be sufficient bandwidth for a decent resolution/frame rate? Will it pretty much use up the line, or will we still be able to use it for general internet browsing, email, games, etc?? Thanks!!
Question by: paul on 16 Sep 2010 04:40:35
The Axis M1113 set to h.264 video compression and delivering 15 images per second from a scene of average complexity and activity will need about 0.75Mbps of bandwidth. The biggest impact factor is the frame rate which you set for your video streaming rate e.g. reducing this by 1/3 to 10ips reduces the bandwidth required a corresponding 1/3 to 0.5Mbps.
A 1.5M T1 internet line should be more than adequate for a good video stream and other general internet use as well :-)

At 4m distance this Axis M1113 camera will deliver a viewed scene width of between 1.5m wide and 4.5m wide depending on how you adjust the lens setting, hopefully that'll be fine for your requirement.
It's a good camera. If budgets permit, then the Axis M1114 with HDTV delivers even better images; scroll down to the bottom of our product pages for example video clips from these Axis IP cameras. You will be able to see the difference that HD video makes.
Hope that helps ...
