The Axis Q1952-E is a thermal bullet network camera that offers reliable detection and verification. The high-quality thermal video stream is delivered 24/7, making it ideal for perimeter security and long-range detection.
Thermal imaging is particularly useful for perimeter detection because it captures images based solely on the heat radiating from people and objects and is totally unaffected by darkness or poor visibility. It comes highly recommended, especially when using Axis Perimeter Defense analytics to combine thermal imaging for reliability in all scenarios as well as photo imaging to secure specific details which could be used to locate people of interest or which could be used as evidence.
With a low false alarm rate, the Q1952-E offers reliable detection and verification. It comes with Axis Motion Guard, Axis Fence Guard and Axis Loitering Guard pre-installed for proactive surveillance. The Q1952-E also includes a microphone connector allowing users to add audio capabilities if required. And, due to being built on a powerful analytics platform, it is also possible to add custom made third party analytics.
Rated IK10, the robust Q1952-E is impact/vandal resistant so is suitable for a wide range of applications. It is also rated IP66/67 which means it is resistant to water and dust ingress and can be mounted outside safely.
