Details
The Axis Q3517-SLVE is a robust, corrosion resistant network dome camera made from marine-grade stainless steel casing (SUS 316L). Being resistant to corrosion, salt water, chemicals and detergents, the camera is idea for installation in harsh environments, indoors or out doors.
With a 5MP resolution at 25fps or 4MP at 50fps, the Q3517-SLVE provides high quality images day and night. Thanks to features such as Forensic WDR and Lightfinder, images are enhanced in challenging or contrasting light scenarios. Whilst the Optimized IR provides supplement infrared illumination for up to 40m.
The Axis Q3517-SLVE features a varifocal zoom lens which can range between 4.3mm to 8.6mm, this provides users with a horizontal field of view of 96° - 50°. Ideal for when the camera is mounted further away from the subject of interest but detail can be captured thanks to the narrower field of view and the Digital PTZ and Optical Zoom.
Furthermore, Electronic Image Stabilization is integral for capturing smooth and steady video when the camera is subject to vibrations, particularly when installed in industrial areas with heavy machinery or vast open spaces where the camera may be subjected to strong winds.
Additional analytic applications are supported by the Q3517-SLVE, including Axis Perimeter Defender. Already embedded on the camera are the following applications:

Axis Zipstream technology allows users to capture important, high-quality images whilst reducing the overall storage and bandwidth requirements by up 50% or more. The Q3517-SLVE also features two configurable input/output ports which can be connected to a wide range of sensors such as smoke or glass break detectors, as well as devices to control lights and doors.
