Details
The DS-2CD2386G2-I/G an 8 megapixel turret camera featuring Hikvisions AcuSense technology and available in grey camera housing.
AcuSense technology uses deep learning algorithms to reduce false alarms, typically generated by foliage, insects or pets. This means that alarm efficiency is vastly improved when targeting humans and vehicles.
With a 2.8mm focal length the turret camera provides a wide field of view of 110.7°. An IP rating of IP67 means the camera is weather resistant and ideal for use outdoors.
Powered by Darkfighter technology the DS-2CD2386G2-I/G performs extremely well in low light conditions with an IR range of up to 30 meters. The camera also uses technology such as WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) to provide a clear image against a strong back light.
This camera can be powered by PoE or with a 12V DC power supply, we normally recommend PoE for ease of installation. Please note that the DS-2CD2386G2-I/G is not sold with a PSU, if required, we have listed our recommended unit in the Frequently Brought Together section above.
Finally, this model also features space for on-board storage in the form of a Micro SD/SDHC/SDXC slot. This is great for those who are using the camera as a standalone unit, without the use of an network video recorder, or those just looking for additional storage back-up.
