Details
The Hikvision DS-2CD2T46G2-2I is a 4-megapixel bullet camera with powerful, built-in supplement IR light reaching a distance of up to 60 metres. The camera is one of the latest to be released within Hikvisions Easy IP 4.0 AcuSense Range.
AcuSense Technology has been developed to use deep learning algorithms to reduce false alarm notifications. Previously alarms would be falsely triggered by elements such as rain, foliage and wildlife. Now, with the AcuSense technology, the smart algorithms focus on targets such as vehicles and humans, greatly reducing false alarms. This bullet camera can detect intelligent events such as Motion Detection, Line Crossing Detection and Tampering Alarms.
The DS-2CD2T46G2-2I has a rating of IP67 making it weather-resistant and perfectly suitable for use outside. The base is adjustable on three axes' allowing for the camera to be mounted to face almost any position. The camera also provides space for a Micro SD Card for onboard storage.
Users will experience high image quality even in challenging light scenarios thanks to technologies such as DarkFighter, 3D DNR, 120 dB true WDR.
We recommend using the H.265+ video compression to record footage. It has noticeably improved and increased storage and bandwidth usage since its release with no loss to image quality. It is also recommended to power the camera by PoE to reduce cable usage, however, it is also possible to power the device with a 12V DC power supply unit (not included). If a PSU is required, please see the Frequently Brought Together section above for our recommended unit.
Please note, we strongly recommend that the latest Easy IP 4.0 cameras should be used with the -I series NVR only. Please see our comments on our technical forum for more information.
