The Hikvision DS-2CD2383G0-IU 8 megapixel turret camera is one of the latest releases for Autumn 2019. Featuring all of the great details as before, including IR LED's that reach a maximum distance of 30m and the flat faced design to help tackle IR reflection, spiders and raindrops this model now features a built in microphone.
This model is ideal for use for most outdoor applications, thanks to its IP67 rated, weatherproof housing. It also features the ability to be adjusted on three axis, which ensures that the area of interest can be easily covered regardless of if the camera is being wall mounted,on a junction box or with a wall mount.

As with most of the new Hikvision cameras, the DS-2CD2383G0-IU features WDR (wide dynamic range) to create a balance between an image with dark and bright areas, improving the overall image. Of course, it features H.265+ video compression, which offers a huge bandwidth and storage saving compared to H.264. This camera can be powered by PoE or with a 12VDC power supply.
