The DS-9664NXI-I8R/VPro is a 64-channel NVR. It provides HDMI and VGA outputs and offers HDMI video output at up to 4K resolution. The NVR uses H.265+/H.265/H.264+/H.264 video formats, which can save users bandwidth and storage usage without compromising the video image quality. It also offers two-way audio, and there are eight SATA interfaces for hard drive connections.
The DS-9664NXI-I8R/VPro also supports POS (Point of Sale) functions in the form of information overlays in the live view and playback, as well as Point of Sale triggered recording and alarm. This function can aid businesses in monitoring business performance, best sellers, and peak shopping times. Moreover, it offers facial recognition and up to 16 face picture libraries, with up to 50,000 face pictures in total. Intelligent analytics included in this NVR also include perimeter protection, video structuralisation, AcuSearch, motion detection 2.0, ANPR, and people counting. Users can connect to the DS-9664NXI-I8R/VPro via Hik-Connect and DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name System) for easy network management. The smooth streaming technology is accessible via web access without a plug-in.

With the AcuSeek function integrated, users of the DS-9664NXI-I8R/VPro can simply input a word or sentence to search for any target, including people, vehicles, animals, signs, plants, and even more. The highly precise search based on Hikvision Guanlan Large-Scale AI models can give results in seconds, and users can also customise alarms with text-defined rules, delivering instant alerts. Furthermore, the search can be conducted on multiple platforms, including NVR webpage, NVR local GUI, and HikConnect.
