There is also some very minor cosmetic damage to the camera housing, but this does not affect the performance in any way.

The DS-2CD2386G2-IU is the latest addition to Hikvision's AcuSense range. The 8 megapixel turret camera uses deep learning algorithms to reduce false alarms, typically generated by foliage, insects or pets. This means that alarm efficiency is vastly improved when targeting humans and vehicles.

With the added built-in microphone, users have the extra benefit of increasing surveillance efficiency with the ability to record sounds up to 5 meters away (depending on the environment).

Powered by Darkfighter technology the DS-2CD2386G2-IU performs extremely well in low light conditions with an IR range of up to 30 meters. The camera also uses technology such as WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) to provide a clear image against a strong backlight.

This camera can be powered by PoE or with a 12V DC power supply, we normally recommend PoE for ease of installation.

Please note: this camera does not come with a power supply.
