The IE8221-F is an AI-based Facial Recognition Workstation, from Vivotek, designed to capture and identify facial profiles caught on connected IP Cameras, even in complex environments. It also comes equipped with a selection of additional features, including live notifications / alerts, POI management, and reports (more information about these features can be found below), making it highly effective in the case of access control and attendance management.
Please Note: Any IP Cameras connected to the IE8221-F will require an FR License and an optional Wiegand box is needed for door access
Features
Live Notifications / Alerts Users can take advantage of Real-time notifications, via Vivotek VAST 2, whenever a person of interest (POI) has been identified, keeping you infromed at all times.
Trigger rules - With its rule based engine the IE8221-F can trigger single or multiple system actions. These can be based on Event location, Schedule, Detection time period, a specific POI profile, POI face group affiliation, Person type (enrolled or un-recognised), or, if a person is (or is not) a member of a group.
Supported system actions - These triggers then cause for system actions. The IE8221-F supports; Trigger I/O Relay, Trigger IP-to-Wiegand converter, Send HTTP GET/POST command, and, WebSocket notification.
POI (Persons of Interest) Management Users can assign each person in their database into one or more groups, allowing for easier identification, and can auto-delete POI profiles based on a pre-defined date. Groups can include VIP lists, Blocklists, Staff, Visitors, ect
Additional notes - Users can enroll a profile to their database using Web client, can manage face profiles via Web portal, and can enroll profiles in bulk using Excel and JPEG files.
Comprehensive Reports The IE8221-F also provides users with detailed reports for recognized and un-recognized faces, that include the use of automated exception-based filters (such as; No show, Late arrival, Early leave, ect, - Ideal for employee clock-in reports). Alongwith this, the IE8221-F is also capable of storing system-triggered action logs, with the use of search filters, allowing for users to search through events quickly, and to export results to Excel as needed (keeps evidence searches and investigations quick and efficient)
Additional notes - Users can generate face recognition reports, and filter events by Location, Time, Person's name, POI group, POI type (enrolled or un-recognised)
