  • Hi
    Is this a direct replacement for the discontinued 206 and will it work using the 206 software bought in 2006? I have 4 x 206 and one has just developed a fault.

    Yes the Axis M1011 is the replacement for the Axis 206.
    
    And yes, if you are using Axis Camera Station software, then it will work with that.

  • if i use this camera with my iomega storcenter nas, will i need the additional licenses and management centre?

    Assuming you have just one Axis M1011 you should be able to do everything you need with the FREE Axis Camera Station One at: http://www.axis.com/products/cam_station_software/one.htm
    
    If you have more cameras then you'll need to upgrade to four or ten camera licences.

    Yes, you can use Firefox with this camera. From the manual:
    "The network camera can be used with most standard operating systems and browsers. The recommended browser is Microsoft Internet Explorer with Windows, Safari with Macintosh and Mozilla Firefox with other operating systems."
