The DS-2CD6984G0-IHS is a 32MP resolution PanoVu camera, from Hikvision, designed with a built-in heater, IP67 water and dust resistance, IK10 vandal resistance, DarkFighter technology, and a 180° splicing image.
Users can choose to view footage from a selection of modes. These include; Panorama mode, Original mode, Panorama + ePTZ mode, and, Divided Panorama mode.
It also supports Exception detection (network disconnected, IP address conflict, Illegal login, HDD full, HDD error) and a selection of image enhancement technologies. These include:
Digital WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) - improves image visibility and detail in low-light environments.
BLC (Backlight Compensation) / HLC (Highlight Compensation) - compensates for overly bright, or dark areas of a scene, to improve overall image quality.
3D DNR (3D Noise Reduction) - reduces interferance from incoming signals ('noise') to keep image quality clear.
EIS (Electronic Image Stabalisation) - keeps image quality stable, even in challenging environments.
