The Hikvision DS-2DE3204W-DE(T5) is a 2 megapixel compact, 3" mini dome PTZ network camera. It offers simple and easy installation, adjustment and maintenance making it a practical and cost-effective PTZ option.
With 4x Optical Zoom technology users can zoom in closer to objects of interest within an expansive area. This allows for tailored and monitored security surveillance. With regards to movement range, the DS-2DE3204W-DE(T5) can tilt between 0° and 90° whilst being able to pan up to 350°. The 2.8mm-12mm varifocal lens, provides a horizontal field of view of 103.4° to 33°, a vertical field of view of 53.8° to 18.9° and a diagonal field of view of 122.6° to 37.8°.
DORI represents 'Detect', 'Observe', 'Recognise' and 'Identify'.
The DORI distance gives the general idea of the cameras ability to distinguish persons or objects within its field of view. It is calculated based on the camera sensor specification and the criteria given by EN 62676-4:2015.

Users can install the DS-2DE3204W-DE(T5) safely outdoors thanks to its IP66 rating, making it sufficiently resistant to water, dust and dirt ingress. For installation in areas where it could be subject to wear and tear or vandalism attempts, the DS-2DE3204W-DE(T5) has been rated IK10, the highest possible Vandal Resistant rating.
On-Board the DS-2DE3204W-DE(T5) is a built-in memory card slot that supports microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC card up to 256GB for onboard storage. The DS-2DE3204W-DE(T5) PTZ also features one alarm input and one alarm output as well as one audio line in and one audio line out, this enables users to connect third-party devices such as microphones, speakers and security lights.
Please note that the DS-2DE3204W-DE(T5) mini PTZ can be powered via POE or 12V DC mains supply, although no power supply is provided with the purchase. At use-IP, we recommend powering via POE (Power Over Ethernet) for ease of installation as only one network cable is required. This can be done directly from an NVR that offers POE or via a POE Switch/Injector.
