The Hikvision DS-2DF8236IX-AELW is a 2MP auto focus speed dome camera with 1/1.9" progressive scan CMOS chip and a focal length of 5.7 - 205.2mm. Users also get free remote access via Hikvision's iVMS-4200 Video Management Software.
This camera is part of the Darkfighter series which provides high quality images in low light environments. This is due to features such as high light compression (HLC), 120dB wide dynamic range, 3D digital noise reduction (3D DNR) and auto tracking 2.0. It also comes with true day/night recording, which provides monitoring 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Armed with 36x optical zoom & 16x digital zoom lens, the DS-2DF8236IX-AELW gives users a high detailed image over a large area. This is supported by a panoramic movement of 360° and a tilt from -20° to 90° with IP66 weather-proof housing and a working temperature of -40°C to 65°C.
It also comes with a silicone wiper on the surface of the lens. This allows for quick easy cleaning due to it wiping away any dirt or water that is congregating on the lens.
The DS-2DF8236IX-AELW comes with a built in memory card slot, compatible with Micro SD/SDHC/SDXC, allowing up to 256GB of storage. This works togehter with H.265+/H.265 compression which offers users huge savings on bandwidth and storage compared to the previous H.264 compression used.
Please note, this camera does not come with a power supply.
