Details
The Hikvision iDS-TCM403-AI is a high performance ANPR bullet network camera from their DeepinView range. Also powered by Darkfighter technology to provide excellent image results even in near darkness.
ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) is a specific technology designed to capture and recognise vehicle number plates in all conditions. Once captured, the data is stored and can be used for black/white lists to deny or allow access/entry to secure sites and car parks.
To allow users flexibility, the iDS-TCM403-AI is available in two different focal lengths. The focal length options provide different field of views to best suit different mounting options, for instance, if the camera is mounted at close range to the vehicles then a iDS-TCM403-AI/0411 is likely required, whereas if the camera is required to monitor number plates from a long range then a iDS-TCM403-AI/0832 may be better suited. Users will also notice that the IR range varies depending on the option selected.

The iDS-TCM403-AI is able to provide excellent image results with thanks to features such as 3D DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) and 140 dB WDR (Wide Dynamic Range). WDR helps to find the balance between light and dark when a scene is subject to contrasting light conditions, for instance the iDS-TCM403-AI being mounted in the shade (indoor car park) on a sunny day.

With an IP rating of IP67, the iDS-TCM403-AI is suitable for use outdoors as it is resistant to water and dust ingress. It has also been rated IK10 which gives it a "Vandal Resistant" impact rating, ideal for mounting in areas where it could be subject to vandalism attempts, or knocks from passing vehicles.
The iDS-TCM403-AI can be powered via POE for ease of installation. It also features a slot for a MicroSD card to enable onboard storage.
