The Hikvision DS-2CD2542FWD-I is a 4MP mini dome camera with the choice of either a 2.8mm, 4mm or 6mm fixed lens. This camera is more than suitable for outdoor applications with both IK08 vandal resistant housing and IP66 rated weatherproof housing. It also has built in infra-red LEDs that are effective up to 10m. With a total width of less than 10cm, the DS-2CD2542FWD-I is a great choice if you are looking for a camera that is more discreet than standard dome cameras. It can be mounted in a variety of ways with 3-axes adjustability and a range of mounting accessories (please see our frequently bought together section). The DS-2CD2542FWD-I uses a range of features to improve image quality such as wide dynamic range (WDR), 3D digital noise reduction (3D DNR) and back light compensation (BLC). To ensure that you are getting the most out of your CCTV, this camera supports a range of alarm triggers such as motion detection, tampering alarm, network disconnect, and storage exception. Supporting H.264+, the DS-2CD2542FWD-I can efficiently use it's on board micro SD card slot. It can be powered by either a 12V DC power supply or by a PoE injector. Remote access is made possible by the Hik-Connect app or through a web browser.
